Terms of Service
Effective Date: March 23, 2026 Last Updated: March 23, 2026
Welcome to Doable. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Doable platform, including our website, mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Doable Platform, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.
- You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
- If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. The Doable Platform
Doable is a two-sided marketplace that connects individuals and businesses who need tasks completed ("Clients") with skilled independent contractors who perform those tasks ("Helpers"). Doable is not a party to any agreement between Clients and Helpers and does not employ Helpers.
2.1 Platform Roles
- Clients post tasks, set budgets, and hire Helpers.
- Helpers browse tasks, submit offers or bids, and complete tasks in exchange for payment.
- Users may act as both Clients and Helpers on the Platform.
2.2 No Employment Relationship
Helpers are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or partners of Doable. Doable has no control over, and is not responsible for, the work performed by Helpers or the conduct of Clients.
3. Account Registration
3.1 Creating an Account
To use core features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Keep your account information up to date at all times.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your password and account credentials.
- Take full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
3.2 Account Security
You must notify us immediately at support@Doable.com if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account. Doable is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.
3.3 One Account Per User
You may only create one account per person unless explicitly authorized by Doable. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions or restrictions is strictly prohibited.
4. Posting and Completing Tasks
4.1 Client Responsibilities
When posting a task, Clients agree to:
- Provide clear, accurate, and complete descriptions of the task, including location, timeline, and any special requirements.
- Post only lawful tasks that do not violate applicable laws or these Terms.
- Honor accepted offers and pay Helpers upon satisfactory completion of work.
- Treat Helpers with respect and professionalism.
4.2 Helper Responsibilities
When accepting or bidding on tasks, Helpers agree to:
- Only accept tasks they are qualified and capable of completing.
- Complete tasks in a professional, timely, and high-quality manner.
- Communicate clearly with Clients about progress, delays, or issues.
- Comply with all applicable licenses, permits, and regulations for the work performed.
- Treat Clients and their property with care and respect.
4.3 Prohibited Task Categories
Users may not post or accept tasks involving:
- Illegal goods, services, or activities of any kind
- Firearms, weapons, explosives, or dangerous materials
- Adult content, escort services, or prostitution
- Hacking, unauthorized surveillance, or cybercrime
- Counterfeit goods or intellectual property infringement
- Harassment, stalking, or targeted abuse of individuals
- Any activity that violates local, state, or federal law
Doable reserves the right to remove any task that violates these Terms without prior notice.
5. Payments and Fees
5.1 How Payments Work
Doable provides a secure payments system to facilitate transactions between Clients and Helpers. All payments must be made through the Platform. Off-platform payments are prohibited and may result in account suspension.
5.2 Service Fees
Doable charges a service fee on each completed transaction to support platform operations, payment processing, and customer support. The current fee schedule is displayed on the Pricing page and is subject to change with notice.
5.3 Payment Release
Payment is held in escrow until:
- The Client marks the task as complete, or
- The task is deemed complete based on dispute resolution outcomes, or
- An agreed-upon milestone is reached.
5.4 Refunds and Cancellations
Refund eligibility depends on the stage of the task:
- Tasks cancelled before a Helper is assigned: Full refund.
- Tasks cancelled after a Helper is assigned: Subject to cancellation policy and any work already completed.
- Completed tasks: Refunds are only issued through the formal dispute resolution process.
5.5 Taxes
You are solely responsible for determining and fulfilling any tax obligations arising from transactions on the Platform. Doable may issue tax forms (e.g., 1099-K) to Helpers where legally required.
6. User Conduct
6.1 Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not:
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- Use the Platform to transmit unsolicited commercial communications (spam).
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform or its related systems.
- Engage in scraping, crawling, or data mining of the Platform without written permission.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform.

6.2 Content Standards
Any content you post on the Platform — including task descriptions, profiles, reviews, messages, and photos — must:
- Be accurate and not misleading.
- Not contain hate speech, obscenity, or offensive material.
- Not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
- Not include personally identifiable information of third parties without their consent.
Doable reserves the right to remove any content that violates these standards.
7. Reviews and Ratings
Both Clients and Helpers may leave reviews and ratings after a completed task. Reviews must be:
- Honest and based on genuine experience with the task.
- Free from personal attacks, defamatory statements, or harassing language.
- Not manipulated through fake accounts, incentivized reviews, or coordinated campaigns.
Doable reserves the right to moderate, remove, or not display reviews that violate these standards. Reviews cannot be removed simply because they are negative.
8. Dispute Resolution
8.1 Between Users
Doable encourages Clients and Helpers to resolve disputes directly through the in-platform messaging system. If direct resolution is not possible, either party may initiate a formal dispute through the Platform within 7 days of task completion.
8.2 Doable Mediation
Doable's Trust & Safety team may review submitted disputes and make a determination based on:
- Evidence provided by both parties (messages, photos, receipts, etc.)
- Task description and agreed terms
- Platform policies and precedent
Doable's decision is final within the bounds of the dispute process. We do not guarantee a specific outcome.
8.3 Legal Disputes
For disputes not resolved through the Platform process, you agree to resolve them through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules, with proceedings conducted in [Your Jurisdiction]. You waive any right to participate in class-action lawsuits against Doable to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Doable's Intellectual Property

9.2 User Content License
By posting content on the Platform, you grant Doable a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform. You retain ownership of your content.

12.1 Platform Provided "As Is"
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. 12.3 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Doable's total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the greater of $100 USD or the total fees paid by you to Doable in the 3 months preceding the claim.
In no event will Doable be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Doable Inc., its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
